Dr. Banjo is a super intelligent orangutan and scientist who knows Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth. He is one of the leaders of the anti-evolution manifestants. He confronts the Professor with Creation, but is later convinced that Evolution may exist, after being set in motion by a powerful alien or a god, that is.

- He is supposedly modeled after Dr. Zaius from Planet of the Apes, which was also referenced in "The Late Philip J. Fry".
